The architecture is simple enough to verify rather than take on trust.
- No upload endpoint. Files are read into browser memory and processed by WebAssembly locally. Verifiable in the Network tab.
- No outbound file transfer. Nothing for DLP to flag, because no document ever crosses the boundary.
- No installation. It is a web application, so there is no installer, no elevated permissions, and no update management.
- No account required. The free tier needs no credentials, so there is no additional identity surface.
Deployment is doing nothing
There is no rollout project. Staff open a URL. If you want it to behave like an installed application, it can be installed as a Progressive Web App from the browser, which gives it its own window and a Dock or Start Menu entry, and makes the whole suite work offline.
Because the tool works with no network connection after first load, it also functions on isolated or restricted-network machines where cloud tooling simply cannot operate.
Honest limitations
There is no admin console, no SSO, no centralised policy control, and no per-seat usage reporting. Pro is billed per account rather than as a site licence.
If your requirement is centrally administered document infrastructure with audit logging, this is not that product, and you should evaluate an enterprise document platform instead. If your requirement is that employees stop uploading contracts to random websites, this solves that directly and immediately.

Will this trigger our DLP policy?
It should not, because no file transfer occurs. The application code itself loads over HTTPS like any web page, but your documents are never part of a request.
Do we need a vendor security review or a DPA?
Those processes exist to govern a vendor handling your data. We do not receive, store or process your documents, so there is materially less to review. Your security team can confirm the no-upload behaviour independently in a few minutes.
Is there SSO or an admin console?
No. This is deliberately a lightweight tool rather than managed infrastructure. If centralised administration is a hard requirement, this is not the right fit and we would rather say so upfront.
Can it work on machines with restricted internet access?
Yes. After the first load the application is cached as a Progressive Web App and every tool continues to work with no network connection at all.
