Rotate PDF

PDF Vault rotates PDF pages 90, 180 or 270 degrees in your browser, either the whole document at once or individual pages you pick, with nothing uploaded.

Sideways pages are one of the most common PDF annoyances: a scanner fed a page the wrong way, a phone photo taken in landscape, or a document assembled from mismatched sources. Reading it means tilting your head or your screen.

This tool shows every page as a thumbnail so you can see exactly which ones are wrong before fixing them, rather than guessing from a page count. Rotate the whole file in one click, or fix only the two or three pages that are actually sideways.

The rotation is written into the page's orientation, not baked into the image, so text stays sharp and selectable and the file size barely changes.

How to rotate PDF pages

  1. Load the PDF you want to fix.
  2. Select the pages that need rotating, or leave them all selected.
  3. Click rotate left or rotate right — repeat to reach 180 degrees.
  4. Download the corrected PDF.

What you get

  • Per-page control. Rotate one page differently from the rest, for documents scanned in mixed orientations.
  • Visual thumbnails. See every page before you commit, instead of rotating blind.
  • Lossless. Only the page's orientation flag changes — text, images and file size are untouched.
  • Any starting angle. Works correctly even on pages that already have a rotation set by the original scanner or app.

Frequently asked questions

Does rotating a PDF page lose quality?

No. Rotation changes how the page is displayed, not the content itself, so text stays fully selectable and image quality is unchanged.

Can I rotate just one page in a multi-page PDF?

Yes — select only that page's thumbnail before rotating. The rest of the document is left exactly as it was.

My PDF viewer already lets me rotate the view — is that different?

Yes. Rotating the view only changes how your viewer displays the page and reverts when you reopen it. This tool changes the file itself, so it opens right-side up everywhere.
